An Amber Ale packed with a cornucopia of flavours and aromas reminiscent of an English summer. The hops provide hints of strawberries and citrus backed by the light biscuit flavours of the malt. All are paired with the vital ingredient: lashings of rain.

500ml bottle from Gloucester Services Farm Shop, drunk in Cornwall one summer’s eve. Pours murky amber with large foamy white head. Aroma is berry fruit and toffee. Taste is citrussy, malty with an earthy nutty presence. Had chilled it a little too cold so took a while for the flavours so emerge, but when they do it’s really rather nice.
