Pas de quoi dynamiter votre palais avec cette nitro stout qui manque nettement d'intensité et de corpulence. C'est un stout très gentillet que nous propose la brasserie 4 Pines. En verre nous sommes sur une robe noire, parcourue pas une faible effervescence et sans mousse. Au nez, si les arômes de café et chocolats sont plaisants, ils restent toutefois simples. En bouche toutefois, cela est décevant avec une faible intensité et densité dès l'attaque. L'ensemble est plat et sans réel dynamisme. La longueur présente de surcroit des arômes torréfiés qui s'estompent pour laisse place à une amertume relativement neutre. Très moyen.

Bottle from brewery in Manly. Chocolate black brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma coffee, burnt malty, grain with a dry taste. Medium body.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours black with a tan nitro head. Chocolate, toast, cherry, blackcurrant, biscuit. Medium body, not that creamy even on the nitro. Nice.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As 4 Pines Stout ].Clear dark black - red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, coffee, dusty malt, light to moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dusty malt, bread, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170617] 7-3-7-3-15

Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours almost black with a small bubbly beige head. Light aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, watery texture, above average carbonation.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter nice roasted flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice.
