50cl swing top bottle bought at the brewery shop. Clear dark orange brown colour, mid-sized to small beige head. Mild caramelish aroma, mild roasted, nutty, some fruits. Taste of mild caramelish malt, reddish malt, nuts, mild bitterness. Not bad!

50 cl-bottle bottle from the brewery. nice chestnut colour and a nice beige head. the nose is fruity-malty. The beer starts malty, a bit roasted. In the mainpart it gets dryer, a bit of hops is visible, nice roasted aroma, which is still very subtle. In the end the beer is still slightly roasted with malts coming through and very subtle hops. --> Nice beer from a nice and very small brewery. Not watery at any time. 12/13/12/12 --- Beer merged from original tick of Bergschlösschen Dunkel on 24 Nov 2005 at 21:47 - Score: 6. Original review text: Nice but not too bitter Dunkel.

Draught at Scheunecafé: Chestnut-amber coloured, small stable off-white head; slightly dry-malty and toasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodoed and a bit sticky. Short malty-bitter finish. O.K., but not really convincing......

1l-bottle directly from the brewery. Looks good. The beer in the glass is dark, but not black, creamy head. Starts malty and fruity with notes of plum, but also some caramel and chocolate. Finish is weaker. Quite drinkable. Could be a bit drier, but still a good dunkles!
