A dark reddish copper ale with a thin dark mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with fruity notes, dark fruits, light molasses, pine trees, interesting. In mouth, a sweet dark fruity malt with plums, molasses, light woody notes, burned caramel, licorice in finale, nice. On tap at brewery.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a cloudy dark brown with a red hue and a light brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had sweet grain, some nuttiness, a nice spice note and a bit of light fruit. Flavor was similar complex with some sweet grains joined by light fruit and spices with a bit of nuttiness in the finish.
