Cask at Triumph, Philly, 30/11/13. Chestnut/mahogony brown with a moderate light tan covering that retains well. Nose is cake mix, brown sugars, brown bread. Taste comprises light nutty strains, biscuit malt, toffee, bread dough. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, good cask conditioning - this beer is ideal for cask dispense and a keg version would be so much blander. Ok cask affair, bitter come brown - could even pass for a mild.

A reddish copper brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, fruity and nutty malt with fruity esters, OK. In mouth, sweet nutty caramel malt with maple syrup, boiled veggies, so-so.
