Belgian-Style Strong Golden Ale

Spicy and complex yeast notes dominate the aroma with hops in the background. Up front is a rich malt palate with some alcohol sweetness, leading into herbal, grassy hop notes, provided by "Triskel hops," a French hop variety from a cross between French Strisselspalt and English Yeoman. The big mouthfeel is met with an equally pronounced alcohol warmth in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice light flora and funky note with underlying sweet grains. Flavor has lots of flora and light fruits with a bit of funky dryness and sweet grains.

A golden ale with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, a fruity grassy malt with orange zest, lemon and spices. In mouth, a sweet cloying and creamy malt with light ginger and off notes, alcohol, so- so.
