A viscous hazed amber ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, a sweet fruity malt with orange peels, bananas, cloves, grassy notes, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a classic belgian ale with sweet fruity malt with coriander, curacao, loads of alcohol, banana & bubble gum.

Smells floral, a little bubblegum as well. The beer feels like its halfway between a saison and tripel. Its pretty decent though, pours cloudy blondwith good tracing. A little head with staying power. Taste finishes a bit bitter but light palate for tripel.

(Draught at Bryden’s, Toronto, June 2012) Poured a slightly orangish yellow, with faint haze and a thin white head. A pair of pink rose petals floating on top were an attractive touch. Aroma very fruity, definite orange notes mixing with yeasty esters, sweet pale malts, very light herbs and a distinct floral overtone. Taste fairly sweet malts and orange, floral with a light yeast character and just a little hop bitterness and alcohol on the finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, improved as it warmed and didn’t reveal much alcohol. I really enjoyed this beer, a subtle and tasty new take on a tripel that could get me in a lot of trouble on a hot summer’s day...
