(On tap at Bryden’s, June 15 2014) Pours a clear pale gold with a large, bubbly white head and lots of lace. Aroma pretty complex and changes as it warms, white wine grapes, lemon/lime, slightly oaky, wheat grain, a slight lactic note. On the palate, slight lactic acidity keeps it zesty to start but not very sour. More chardonnay - grape meets lemon-lime, a little herbal coriander. More traditional wit profile towards the finish, wheat grains and a bit of the curaçao more apparent, light herb persists, barrel in the finish is present but not overpowering. A very dry beer all told, fairly light body, effervescent carb, drinks well. This is a pretty subtle beer, but there’s a lot going on and it’s all held in excellent balance.

Really nice. Great fruity finish. Pours cloudy orange without much head or lacing. Finishes with some kind of tangy fruit mixed with florals. Maybe the curacao. Makes for a great twist at the end. Some coriander as well. Barrel very subtle and well-integrated. On draft at Volo for Zwanze Day.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice Bretty malt with musty character, nice and smooth. In mouth, a buttery malt with light Brett, popcorn, so-so. On tap at A Night with Amsterdam and Friends, Feb 2 2013.
