Bottle picked up from Rewe, Eltville and consumed at home Thursday 26th May 2022 listening to Katy J Pearson - Return, we're having a homemade Chilli Con Carne with a wrap. Pours Reddy/brown with an off white head. Slight metallic and malt nose. Soft moutheel, some chewy caramel. This is a strange beer, it starts off fine but I really don't like the finish, almost a little swampy, okay I am exaggerating but it's a stale biscuit and seems very amateur'ish'. Cannot finish this.

Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Roasted fruity finish. Decent.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, reddish, dark copper colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, caramel and minimally toasty, malty as well as slightly fruity and leafy, hoppy aroma, a touch of strawberry and redcurrant, whiffs of toffee. Taste is minimally dry, toasty malty, slightly fruity and minimally leafy hoppy, a touch of strawberry and redcurrant, subtle sweetness. Creamy texture, super-soft, smooth and silky palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Well crafted, due to the fruity flavours almost Altbierbowle in itself - very nice!

Bottle from rhoihessegold in the RB 2020-01 Euro Swapb- Cheers! Fluffy off white head stayed on a murky reddish brown still body. Demerara, yeast & cocoa aroma. Medium bodied, creamy to fore & prickly over the tongue with dry cloying back. Malt, chocolate & yeast tastes followed by a hoppy, tangy finish with berry & peach. Tasty!

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! Smooth malty beginning. Sweetish-brown, dry maltiness with hints of bitterness, especially in the end. Hints of nuts, dry malt with a sweetish-sourish undertone. Interesting aroma, not too easy to drink, a bit alcoholic. But round and smooth. Bitter-malty and dry aftertaste with hints of nuts and dry caramel. Interesting.
