Herbal, citrucy hops. Grassy, hay like malts. Solid carb, mouthfeel was bang on. Medium bitterness, with some light funk, and a light tart finish with some good hopping on the end.

650mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse notes upfront, a little bit of wheat and a little citrus zest. Flavour brings out loads farmhouse notes, with a little citrus zest, lots of hay, and a little funk. Very hay dominating, with low-to-moderate funk. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Great Canadian saison.

(Project X bottle from brewery) Pours a medium gold with a white bubbly head, no lace. Aroma is a bit catty, citrus, some sweeter tropical fruit below (yellow mango?) and just a little yeasty spice with that fruit. Flavour has tart citrus, a little lemony, fruity (bit of peach, apple?), some earthy, spicy yeast, a little sour in the middle to end like some saisions, finishes dry with nice moderate hop bitterness, soft spice, a bit grainy/wheaty. Body moderate with a little cling, carbonation fairly low, nice and fresh and dry. Wonderful American Farmhouse, hops work well with the yeast, nice balance of sweet/tart/sour/dry.

Pours clear blond with foamy head and a little lacing. Aroma has lots of citrus with some orange, almost a little candy. Some bitterness and a slight touch of sourness at the end. Carbonation is pretty high. Nice mouthful of beer. On tap at volos.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white headd. In aroma, a smooth grassy malt with light sulfury notes and catnip hops. In mouth, a more clover laden malt with catty hops and light acidity, a bit of incense notes, not bad. On tap at Volo, June 24, 2012.
