A golden amber with a thick creamy mocha lacing head. In aroma, super pungent catty and piney hops, solvent notes, fruity, pineapples, very nice and complex. In mouth, a smooth grassy malt with lingering herbal hops, lemony notes, piney, roasted caramel, rich and smooth. On tap at brewery, June 24 2012.

This one smells like bitter hopsm a IIpa. Tastes bitter, farmy, can definitly detect the saison farmlike yeast here. Apparently they used the same yeast here as in their saison. Has some hay, some rich tangerine in the taste. Got this bottle fresh on the day of their first retail release. Hope to see more of this, its better than their lost river. Bottle from brewpub.
