A golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a smooth grainy malt with light vanilla notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet oily malt with touches of vanilla, a bit crisp and oily. On tap at Festibiere de Gatineau, as Brasse-Riz, May 25 2012.

Smells a bit like vanilla. It’s actually one of the better ones that I’ve tried at the 3 brewers. Florals, something like cinnamon or coriander but I can’t really tell. Can’t really tell that it’s rice, but then again you can’t really taste any barley or wheat or anything either. Reminds me of all the rice beers in Japan. Kind of light. On tap at the brewpub.
