A hagyományos Russian Imperial Stout. Hétféle malátát használtunk fel ehhez a sörhöz, ennek köszönheti egyedülálló gazdagságát, ízben és illatban egyaránt. Ezt a testes, sőtét és sűrű italt hét hónapig érleltük palackban, hogy a maláta és a komló ősszhangja a legkiegyensúlyozottabb legyen. Magas alkoholfok, bogyós-, aszalt gyümölcsös észterek, pörkölt ízjegyek és lágy karamelles-trüffeles lecsengés a korty végén. Emlékezetes sör. Mindössze 2000 darab sorszámozott palack készült belőle.

Tap at Borefts 2017. Deep mahogany with light brown head. Quite some roast, caramel, soft blackberries, light mineral, molasses, brown sugar. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation.

Bottle 375 ml, courtesy of Max. Shared with him and Miro. Pours black with small beige head. Roasted, malty, chocolate, some licorice, fruity notes, carbonation a bit high. Sweet, not too complex. Medium bodied.

Monumentális, nagyon tartós, barna hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kávés, pörkölt malátás illatok, aszalt gyümölcsös és enyhe mogyorókrémes felhangokkal. Pörkölt malátás, feketecsokis, aszalt gyümölcsös ízvilág, némi száraz kakaóporos, trüffel bonbonos, hosszúra nyúló lecsengéssel. Nagy testtel rendelkező, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. Ha a palackban érlelés hosszához hozzáadom a nálam eltöltött időt, több mint hatszáz napja lett palackozva. Ennek hatására nagyon jól összeérett ízekkel rendelkezik, kiváló az egyensúlya. Nagyon finom desszert sör. Szinte ordít egy kis hordós érlelés után, ne adj isten wiskey-s hordó...

At a tasting, thanks, opaque black cold, small light brown bubbly head, aroma of roasted coffee, nuts, dark bread and an earthy hint, strong roasted coffee flavor with earthy notes and some dark fruits in the back, quite strong bitterness but overall not too heavy, coffee fruity aftertaste, a bit too bubbly in the mouth and a little unpleasant. Nice and enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Black with a huge tan head. Aroma of roast, licorice, chocolate, a bit of coffee. Bittersweet flavor with roast, nuts, light smokiness, coffee, chocolate, a bit of licorice, a bit of dark fruits, and a bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied, a bit over-carbonated. Very nice.

dark brown colour, minimal, quickly disappearing beige head; aroma and taste of coffee, some chocolate, ash and maybe hints of dried fruitiness (at lest in the aroma); nothing extraordinary, but quite good - probably will be better after some ageing
