A dark amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, cinnamon hearts and sweet fruity caramel. In mouth, a lightly off ale with lots of fusel alcohol, closer to a dunkel, with overly fruity esters, burned caramel, licorice. If this was a doppelbock, I’d say it was OK, but not for an old ale.
