On tap at the Alchemist. Pours a slightly cloudy almost amber color with a fluffy white head that shows some resolve. Smells of earthy piney hops with traces of bready malt deep underneath. Taste is much the same earth and pine that are barley sweetened with a bready malt that struggles to show itself. Medium body and level of bubbles with a sticky resinous mouthfeel. Great IPA, if the Alchemist had opened at 3 I would have had more than one of these and not gotten filled up across the street with Hill Farmstead beers.

A nice amber ale with a thick frothy off white head. In aroma, a superb c-hops, very floral, smells from far away, pinhey and rich. In mouth, a rich and smooth IPA, with mentol alcohol coolness, grapefruits, grains of spices, biscuitty malt. Rich and balanced. On tap at brewpub August 2 2009.

Tap at the brewpub - explosive, grassy, piney hop aroma, with a huge, dry, woody character - very crisp, herbal, earthy simcoe hop flavor, balanced with a perfect malt backbone, not getting sticky like most - hops remain center stage, and keep the finish very dry and woody - reminds me of Sixpoint Gemini - nice.
