A light red brugundy ale with a thin wite head. A wonderful Brett and grape juice aroma, enticing. In mouth, a decent grape juice with light Brett notes, a bit thin but pleasant. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 29 2008, Alchemist’s 5th Anniversary.

Tap at Blind Tiger - well dammit to hell, the one beer I was really looking forward to at this event and it wasn’t very good - reddish-purple, kool-aid looking beer - the aroma is heavy with grapes, some wheaty character, mild yogurt/tart qualities, a kind of berry/fruit juice thing going on - the flavor is a bit sweet and juice like, with very mild funky character way in the back - the flavor reminds me a bit of fruit-flavored yogurt - very mild acidity - maybe it the "wild" bacteria have more time to do their thing, this will be better, but for now it’s just meh.
