On tap at Three Penny Taproom, Montpelier, VT.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a sly transparency about it. Subtle carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace.
The aroma starts with a ton of sweet pear and iced apples. Belgian spices and coriander try to assist in the balance. Nice Belgian sugary malts blend finely.
The flavor yields to the sweet contour of the Belgian sugars. Spices make a good effort but lean to the back slightly. Subtle Belgian sweet aftertaste forwarding into the finish nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. Mild carbonation.
Overall, good tripel for the most part. I could have again.
