Served into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy burnt pale orange to yellow color. Thin white foamy head. Slow dissipation. Mild stringy lacing.
The aroma takes some herbal and floral sweetness rolling into a light citrus and somewhat grassy smooth quality. Opens up into some smooth lemon sweetness. Light white pepper. Some toast.
The flavor balances crisply between the sweetness and some super light bitterness of the hops. Herbal again. Smooth dry floral and herbal aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Medium carbonation, feels good for the most part.
Overall, good Belgian pale ale, willing to have again.

A hazy golden ale with a thin lacing white head. An herbaceous malt, light biscuitty notes. In mouth, a nice biscuitty malt with peachy fruity notes, yeasty finale, very nice. On tap at brewpub, July 20, 2008, shared with Muzzlehatch.
