ABV: 5.8%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, grapes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, earthy hops, pale malt, sweet malt, wood - citrusy hops, dry, hops bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191009]

Cask at the 2020 Manchester Beer Festival. Gold pour with a white head. Citrus,bitter hops and otange marmalade in the nose. Sweet citrus, orange marmalade, oodles of bitter hop in the taste.

Keg at Beer Dock Crewe, High Street, 07/12/19. Clear golden amber with a well presented off white cap. Nose is bitter orange, grass, toasted malts, melon. Taste comprises caramel, orange peel, citric tinged straw, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with assertive hop bitterness. Not bad.

Cask. Steel City Beer Festival. Pale gold. Decent white foam. Nose has punchy hope leaf and oil. Bitter peel. Some berry fruit. Minimal malt presence. Taste is oily and pithy bitter. Surprisingly some sweetness on the lips. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Long bitter finish.
