Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a very slightly golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, light toffee caramel, juicy mixed citrus fruits, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I’m no big fan of cask IPA’s but this one packed a flavour punch.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, clear with a small uneven white head and considerable lacing. Light citrus aroma, some light malty notes but not a lot there. It comes more alive in the taste where the initial sweetness turns to a chalky bitter on the tongue. Light body, low carbonation. A little bit middle of the road but it's decent.
