440ml can. Jet black colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Sweet-ish and roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, wafer overtones; maybe a very weak touch of coconut while warming up. Taste is sweet-ish and roasty, chocolately, dark malty, slightly alcoholic, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, dark cocoa, a touch of wafers, Kahlúa; warming, alcoholic finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather monotonous and not overly intense, I don't really get any cococnut - so-so.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Enticing aromas of black cherries, dark chocolate raspberry ruffle chocolates, coffee, marzipan. Taste is marzipan, caramel, cherry liqueur, vanilla, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee comes through in the back end. Boozy warming finish. Yum 😋!
