Half pint from the cask at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours a dark brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, chocolate, dried fruits, nuts & roasted malt. Medium body. Sweet finish. Enjoyable

30/10/2020. Cask at the Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, ash, liquorice, dark fruit and nut. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, average carbonation. Started well but faded a bit.
