330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Chocolately, roasty and spicy, dark malty as well as earthy, fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, couverture, blueberry, lingonberry, minimally smoky overtones. Taste is bitter, roasty, chocolately, dark malty, minimally fruity and metallic, notes of dark chocolate, hints of blueberry. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium, soft carbonation. Nice aroma, relatively light taste - OK.

Bottle: As black as usual, small and stable tanned head as usual, presumably clear, complex - as usual - sweet-bitter aroma of freshly ground coffee, roasty-toasty malt, a pinch of vanilla and caramel; robust sweet-sourish flavour, supported by dry and delicate bitterness, full bodied, quite soft; lingering drier roasty-sourish finish with an even drier bitter aftertaste, delicate traces of alcohol detectable. Good...

Bottled 3/17. Black with a dense tan head that fades to a cm. Aroma of sticky licorice, coffee, dark berries, some singed notes. Surprisingly light and creamy texture. Unhappily the singeing is more burning when you get to the taste, but other elements come through OK. Slightly spicy and quite bitter and dry at the end. Unaccommodating.

Botella 33 CL en el kraken Oviedo 29..08.. 2019. (r43).

330ml bottle. Roasty, earthy and heavy with licorice, rye, bitter hoppiness, hints of dark chocolate and molasses. Pretty nicely balanced old school imperial stout.
