Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, dark malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, woody, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, licorice, woody hops, toasted - roasted, hops bitter, light pine, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20230501]

Can from Beerdome. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - pine. Flavor is is quite sweet and rather hitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 270323

440ml can. Jet black colour with huge, thick, creamy, very slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, beige head. Piney and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, roasty, dark malty background, hints of coffee, a touch of liquorice. Taste is roasty, dark malty and mildly bitter, piney and citrusy fruity, minimally grassy hoppy, hints of liquorice, some coffee, lemon, light grassy tartness. Oily-creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, very homogeneous, mild, balanced, harmonious - good!
