Lentebock is a strong Dutch lager, brewed to celebrate the arrival of spring. Orbit Lentebock was originally brewed as part of our White Label Series in 2021 and we decided to age a portion in Heaven Hill whisky barrels with Brettanomyces, due for release in the winter of 2022 as part of our Digger’s Series.
The result is a barrel-aged Lentebock (7.4%abv). Aromas of smoky leather and pineapple with a touch of caramel. The flavour is slightly acidic with a boozy warmth. A rounded bitterness that is balanced with a moreish sweetness and a dry finish.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear '22, day one, 29/11/22. Very light haze on a golden amber pour with an off white cap. Nose is vinous, tangy green berries, dusty wood, light funk, lemon rind. Taste comprises brown bread, vinous notes, dried fruit rinds, green berry must, funk, light acidic bretty notes, almost a Lambic-esque quality. Medium body, moderate carbonation, light drying close. Solid.
