A celebration of Oakham Ales freedom to brew whatever it wanted and used several new brewing techniques. With the introduction of hops from the mash tun through to the cask. The name was borrowed from the film and at the time there were 12 working at the brewery where some resemblance struck.

Golden in colour, with strong floral citrus hop aroma. A riot of wonderfully delicious hoppieness, a crisp bitterness leads to a long finish with citrus fruit all the way.

Cask up the White Lady, at 5%. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit. Taste is more citrus and faint malt. Bitter finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Berkeley Rooms (JDW), Bristol 14/2/2024. Golden in colour, with a tight, white, head that left rings down the glass. Grassy hops, lots of tangerine and lychee character, crisp maltiness leading to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Typical of Oakham. Some lovely citrus hop flavour. Decent bitterness. Good condition. Right up my taste alley.
