I was not disappointed by this IPA, coming from one of the most important brewery of Norway. This IPA is really malt, sweet, hop is ok, 07.04.18, tasting it at Prélaz, Lausanne, buying it at one coop, Zürich.

0,4 from tap at the Scotsman whilst trying to enjoy the Premier League matchup between Chelsea and Manchester City. I know, weird for a Man Utd supporter. A good sipper to improve the experience, I guess. Anyway, Bolt pours a clear dark amber body with a quickly diminishing medium tan head that leaves eyepleasing lacing in large parts of the glass. Fairly strong aroma that neatly combines fruity hops and dark malts in a good way. Notes of some spices and caramel on the nose. Mouthfeel is kind of dry bit nevertheless decently filling. Flavour resembles aroma but the combination of the dry palate and alcohol notes makes for quite a blunt brew. Bitter hops also contribute to the flavour and you are left with a pleasing bitter aftertaste. The flavour and finish is perhaps not everyone's cup of tea, but although a bit crude does work for this reviewer. A beer perhaps not ready for the Champions League just yet, but could be fighting for the lower European places at some point.
