E.C. Dahls Bolt IPA har en kobberrød farge. Aromaen er sterkt preget sitrus, furu, grapefrukt og barskog fra humle, med et hint av ristet malt og karamell fra malt. Ølet er fyldig med kraftig humlesmak og bitterhet som er godt balansert mot maltsødme.

On tap at the Clarion Hotel, Trondheim. An attractive copper colour with a tight white head; resinous aroma with some fruity hops; caramel body with a nicely balanced hoppy bitterness with some birch sap and an earthy finish. Rather good.

Bottle from Thon Nidaros Hotel, Trondheim. A very musty hoppy brew, very bitter but a growing pleaser. Not bad, certainly for those who like their IPAs like Sculpin.

0.33l bottle from coop near zurich train st. pours an almost clear deep amber with a frothy head. aroma of sprucy hops, leaves, caramel. flavour of caramel, spruce, grapefruit zest, black tea. kind of a vienna lager/ipa. nice though.

Draught at KØ17. Fruity and caramelly aroma. Hazy amber colour. Small head. The flavour is bready with a weak hop note. Bready finish also. A bit farty.
