E.C. Dahls Bolt IPA har en kobberrød farge. Aromaen er sterkt preget sitrus, furu, grapefrukt og barskog fra humle, med et hint av ristet malt og karamell fra malt. Ølet er fyldig med kraftig humlesmak og bitterhet som er godt balansert mot maltsødme.

Appearance: Orange brown, good amount of creamy, off-white head.
Aroma: Citrus, light hops.
Taste: Good fruits, light hops, slight bread and bitterness. Perfume. Ok.
Bought: Coop (Switzerland), 330 ml, CHF 3.10

On tap at the Clarion Hotel, Trondheim. An attractive copper colour with a tight white head; resinous aroma with some fruity hops; caramel body with a nicely balanced hoppy bitterness with some birch sap and an earthy finish. Rather good.

Bottle 33 cl. Amber, cloudy with a minimal white head. Aroma of hops and some citrus. Medium bitter with a hop end.

Draft @ Sir Toby's, Malmö. Pours a pale amber copper color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy finish.

Draught at Pub Anchir, Stockholm. On December 24, 2017.Clear amber color, off-white head. Hoppy, bitter taste, some sweetness. Medium.mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Hoppy, bread scent.6/3/6/3/12=3.0

Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet)
Clear amber colour, small off-white head. Piney, a bit sweet, resiny aroma. Medium-bodied. Resiny, piney but a bit bready. Some caramel. Very close to Brooklyn EIPA.

Bottle from Thon Nidaros Hotel, Trondheim. A very musty hoppy brew, very bitter but a growing pleaser. Not bad, certainly for those who like their IPAs like Sculpin.

Draught at KØ17. Fruity and caramelly aroma. Hazy amber colour. Small head. The flavour is bready with a weak hop note. Bready finish also. A bit farty.

Almost clear orange colour, moderate sized creamy off-white head; aroma of marmalade, pine and floral notes, some biscuit and toast; taste of syrupy-biscuity sweetness which is well balanced by a resiny-orange zest bitterness; good one
