E.C. Dahls Bolt IPA har en kobberrød farge. Aromaen er sterkt preget sitrus, furu, grapefrukt og barskog fra humle, med et hint av ristet malt og karamell fra malt. Ølet er fyldig med kraftig humlesmak og bitterhet som er godt balansert mot maltsødme.

Almost clear orange colour, moderate sized creamy off-white head; aroma of marmalade, pine and floral notes, some biscuit and toast; taste of syrupy-biscuity sweetness which is well balanced by a resiny-orange zest bitterness; good one

Draught @ [ DØE - Ølfestival København 2017 ] @ Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Dahls Bolt IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie, sweet malt, biscuit malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, hop bitter, fruity hops, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Narvik. Amber with a medium head. On the sweet side with caramel, some grapefruit and malt. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

DØE. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 190517

Keg at Nya Carnegiebryggeriet, Stockholm. Clear deep amber, rich firm head. Caramelly grapefruit aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity and caramelly, some pink grapefruit. Mid bitter finish. Somewhat sterile.

Bottle, at Javel. A hazy dark golden to amber colored beer with a dense finger thick off-white head leaving curtains. It’s piney and resiny on the nose, with some sweetish pale malts. It’s full bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Some lightly roasted malts, dried fruit notes and a good dash of caramel malts, fruityness and some jelly hints. Lasting finish. An old school oops that sure is too malty for me. 170520

Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, great lacing. Aroma is pine, Grapefruit, oranges, caramel. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, not harsh, fruity, sweet malt. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Better than it’s ratings.

On tap at Styrhuset, Bod�. Has a clear copper colour with creamy beige head. Fruity aroma of pine, peaches, grass and caramel. More pine in the flavor along with grapefruit, caramel and grassy hops in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and balanced bitterness. A solid and well balanced IPA.

Fles op luchthaven Torp. Roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is fruitig en licht bitter hoppig met iets van thee en bramen. Is een wat toegankelijkere IPA dan gebruikelijk.
