Brewed to celebrate Olive the Campervan's 50th Birthday, this is a collab with WHC Labs and also featuring Yakima Chiefs. A Thiolised IPA makes use of Thiols, flavour/aroma compounds that are normally 'locked in' and therefore inaccessible normally during the brewing process. To unlock these flavours, we've used pioneering products from WHC Labs (Hop Unlock) and Yakima Chief's YCH 303 Trial Blend (Cryo Mosaic, Cryo Simcoe, Cryo Citra blended with Phantasm (Sauvignon Blanc grape skins), along with Cryo Cashmere. It's a very modern, experimental, expensively put together hazy beer, so expect ripe pineapple, tropical fruits, passionfruit, Sauvignon Blanc and a little bit of dank.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy pineapple yellow with a big, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, quite juicy, apricot, nectarine, melon, gummy bears, white grape juice and powdered sugar. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, firm bitterness which lingers, peppery spice, white peach, nectarine, apricot, candied lemon, touch green, damp green vibes, juicy melon and some floury bread with a drying, slightly chalky finish. Average body and moderate+ fluffy carbonation. An interesting number for sure. Edges a bit too close to sweetness it places, but I like it anyhow.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - light, cloudy orange with a snow white, nicely proportioned head. Nose - dried apricot and orange peel. Taste - orange, apricot, melon and grassy hops. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle with some grassy and zesty bitterness. Overall - good, but would like to retry when the green hop note falls away a bit.
