Pepra Saison is E.C. Dahls' interpretation of the classical Belgian farmhouse, subtly enhanced by the ancient herb hyssop and a fragrant kick of white pepper. Hyssop has been grown in Norway since living memory and has beautiful blue flowers, actually the same shade of blue as the label. The herb gives the beer an aromatic and lightly bitter taste that works together with the characteristic flavor of white pepper.

Tåkete matt gul med høythvitt skum. Luktet korn og noe epler. Sitrusig, korn og kan finne pepperen, usikker på om jeg hadde funnet den dersom det ikke lå i navnet. Men Dahls kommer seg.. Kjøper denne igjen

From tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy and dense head. Aroma is estery and slight peppery. Bitter, slight soapy. Mild ehrbal. Dry and bitter, estery far finish.

Fra fat på Bryggerifestivalen i Trondheim 4 Aug 16. Lavt skum. Stråfarget. Filmskum. Tilløp til lacing. Amonym aroma. Spor av malt. Smaken tydelig fjøs. Bare det. Ikke god. Pepper? Langt ut i ettersmaken - og ikke påtrengende.
