Bottled by lowcostbeer. Only my second imperial brown ale. Pours a dark brown-reddish colour, thin beige head which receded quickly. Inviting aroma of malts, nuts, chocolate, caramel; suggests some depth but not over rich. Taste has plenty of the malt, chocolate and caramel lusciousness, a touch of tangy fruitiness, golden syrup, light bitter roast and herbal note. Full bodied, a bit syrupy on the mouthfeel.

Can from Thirst Class Ale. Hazy ruby body with a dense beige head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of sultanas, milk chocolate and fudge. Flavour of sticky toffee pudding and prune. Medium to full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Tangy and decadent. Possibly a touch too sweet.

1 litre plastic bottle from tap from Low Cost Beer. A dark ruby brown coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit taste/aroma. Maybe too sweet and syrupy but also quite moreish.
