Cask at the source, with BlackHaddock. Hazy golden color, thick beige head. Aroma of light fruit. Taste has bitter hay. OK.

Handpull cask at the White Lion, Bridgnorth. Golden brown, nicely clear with a fairly tight white head. Toast and hazelnut aroma with a touch of raspberry jam. Taste is quite sweet with a berry bitter-sourness in the back of the mouth. This is pretty good, and stands out a bit from so many standard English bitters out there. Lovely.
