On tap @ Kick. Rather clear brown body with a small, dense tan head. Not particular strong, but pleasant aroma of malt and toffee. Gives a very smooth impression, no caramel bomb. Flavor confirm the impression from aroma, it’s a very smooth malt driven beer with toffee, some general fruitiness, light, gentle roasted malt and a pleasant, well integrated bitterness. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. A very balanced beer all the way, perfect to meat, game, cheese etc. A masterpiece of not overdoing anything and still offer a complexity of flavors at several layers. Would love to have this available by the bottle in the future.

Og tap at Kick. A murky brown beer with a small, dense, light beige head leaving curtains. The aroma is on the malty side, with toffee, coffee, roasted malts and a touch of chocolate and prunes. It’s full bodied, smooth and pleasantly carbonated, with a fine bitterness in the flavor. There’s sweetness too going on, at a moderate level, with toffee, roasted malts, some coffee and a pleasant piney hop flavour. Even some nuts, prunes and bread. Long finish with the sweetness more evident. A fine brew that goes well with lots of different courses, and drinks very well on its own as well. 170309
