Can at Appellation Wines, D4B tasting. Pours clear golden amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of brown bread and dried apricot. Taste is brown bread and resin, bit of sugar, quite old school. Dry finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber with a fluffy off-white head. Nose - bread, pine and a touch of orange and apricot. Taste - orange, apricot cakey and pine lingering. Palate - pretty much medium bodied, creamy middle and dry and malty finish. Overall - great example of the style.

On tap at Hanging Bar, pours a mostly clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of piney hops, some resins, a hint of dankness, and bready malt. Flavour is robust, with a nice piney and resinous hop character, an ever so slight tart stone fruit character, and bready malt. That slight tartness is odd and undesirable but the body and hop character are solid. Good but needs cleaning up.
