Cask at the Cock & Bull, Amble. Pours red-tinged black with a tight tan head. Aromas of coffee and faint red fruit. Taste is dusty cocoa, coffee bean and light red fruit again. Roasty finish. Interesting.

Cask at the bow bar. Pours deep brown, nose is chocolate, roasted, liquorice, taste is similar, chewy, light fruit.
