Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear deep reddish - brown with a small fluffy beige head. The aroma is toasty grain, molasses, tamarind, sticky dried fruits, fruit cake, cherry cola, touch of umami and liquorice allsorts. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, nip of acidity, dried fruits, plum, tamarind, fruit cake, cranberry, cherry cola, fizzy cola bottles, molasses, treacle, tangy, bramble and some brown bread. Finish is fizzy sour candy. Medium body and fine, fizzy carbonation. Can't say I am the biggest fan of dark sours, but this one is decent.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep amber to brown with red chinks. The head is fizzy and falls away quickly. Nose - interesting sour treacle going on. Salted caramel and tamarind since I know its in there. Taste - salt, chocolate, caramel and tamarind. Soy sauce and generally savoury. Palate - medium bodied, tangy sweet and.sour and a salty finish. Overall - complex and interesting.
