Can from Grain Schooner. It pours hazy orangey - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, sticky, oily, resinous, sappy, grapefruit, tangerine and some greenness. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, oily, resinous, sappy, green, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo, tangerine, pine needles, peppery spice, waxy peel and just a touch of alcohol with a drying, bitter piney linger. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Lovely West coast character and I totally agree with James' comparison to Sierra Nevada. Except this is better. Brilliant stuff.

Can from Grain Schooner. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of resin and honey. Flavour of grapefruit and orangey hops. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This is excellent - reminded me of prime Sierra Nevada pale ale. Excited to try more from this brewery.
