[Backlog notes] Poured from waxed can (MBCC gold walk, bottle share; at least the wax was on the bottom of the can, not the top). Copper brown with small white head. Caramel, dried fruits, sweet, quite nice.

Can. Yeah, the can, very funny. The most ironic thing to me is the wax on this is less annoying than on a bottle and just as fucken useless. A light haze on this deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, fairly light, decent fine carbonation. Okay, this is a smooth classic bba bw. The barleywine is really here to serve the barrel and serve it does. Smooth malts, a smooth creamy sweetness, nice light toffee touch. Oh so smooth bourbon, fruity and well rounded with a nice boost of soft vanilla oak. Smooth finish. Nuffin new here, nowt! But a fine bba bw all the same.

And not to to much bourbon Clear amber in the glass and no head Thick oily texture and a smooth mellow carbonation level Pleasant and easy to drink Decent intensity in the aroma Toffee, dried fruits, mild oak, mild bourbon bready and mild vanilla in the flavor [Can from Vinmonopolet at Amfi Borg in Sarpsborg, Norway]
