Full-bodied and sessionable apricot sour with a zingy acidity and bright, tropical fruit esters. A full-bodied raw ale packed with fresh fruit flavour.
Taking inspiration from Nordic farmhouse brewing, this beer is fermented with Ebbegarden Kveik. Choosing not to boil, and instead only heating the wort to 82c, leaves more protein in the beer which adds a real juicy side to this sour.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours murky orange with no head. Aromas of apricot, faint funk. Taste is dry, chalky and hint of sulphur. Apricot coming through. Not that sour tbh. Ok.

Can from Grain Schooner. It pours a ludicrous cloudy apricot orange colour with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tangy apricot, peach, nectarine, vanilla and some bircher museli. The taste is sweet - sour, tart, tangy, juicy, fresh and dried apricot, peach, nectarine, sherbet, touch of vanilla yoghurt, light acidity, sourness and granny smith apple with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Was worried this was going to err on the side of a smoothie sour type thing, which it definitely does not. Tart and tangy with real fruit character. Fun stuff and an exciting start from these guys.

Can. Appearance - murky orange to amber. Nose - apricot and orange, light funk and tartness. Taste - luscious apricot and an edge of marmalade. Again tart edge. Palate - close to medium bodied and tarty edge. Overall - very nice.
