Cask at Hop & Scotch, Kings Heath, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light perfume. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, smooth, malt, medicinal, perfume, light woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This won’t be to everyone’s taste!

1st May 2015: hand-pulled half-pint at the Crown Inn, Oakengates. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. Mild citrus lead in both the nose and taste: not the best from Kinver by a long way. Subtle and almost bland, needs some oomph into the flavours and body depth.
