440ml can, thanks to AshtonMcCobb. Pours a very dark brown with a beige foamy head. Aromas & tastes of chocolate, caramel, oats, coffee & malt. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish. Highly enjoyable

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours black with a thick beige head. Aromas of dark chocolate and black coffee. Taste is liquorice, coffee bean, very dark chocolate. Bitter finish.

Keg at lost in leith. Pours black, nose is roasted coffee, chocolate, caramel, taste is bitter, roasted, chocolate, quite dry. --- Beer merged from original tick of 3rd Craic on 30 Dec 2021 at 16:07 - Score: 7

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown to black and opaque. Fluffy fawn head. Nose - coffee, caramel, chewy toffee, rich chocolate and honeycomb. Taste - coffee, caramel, honeycomb, all enveloped in rich chocolate. Palate - creamy and medium bodied, at least. Sweet but also with just an edge of roast. Overall - a lot going on for 5.5%.
