Lightly hazy red beer, decent white head. Smells tart and fruity and you really get the whiff of wine from it. Flavour is mellower than I expected. Tart up front but not eye-wateringly so, crisp and sweet cherry flavours, a little woodiness which lends it some balance and the wine through the back end. Far too refreshing at nearly 9%.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep copper with an autumnal red edge to it. Thin, slightly off white head. Nose - intense cherry, cherry stone and cherry liqueur. Taste - cherry, winey and cherry stone. Not too busy at all. Palate - medium bodied, dry, sour and funky through middle and finish. Overall - lovely elegant beer.
