Bottle at ash's. Pours black, nose is brett fu nk, oak, liquorice, chocolate, some berries, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, woody, leathery, dry, bitter, flat.

Big bottle thanks to Stuu666. Bottle 60 of 119. Appearance - fairly flat on opening. Deep brown to black and no head. Nose - sherry and smoked. Molasses and fruit cake. Taste - leather, sherry, Pontefract cake and dry molasses. Palate - medium plus bodied, flat with light oxidation with a roasty and dry finish. Overall - a bit challenging.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. 60 of 119. Pours flat black with no real head. Aromas of boozy sherry and leather. Taste is Christmas cake, leather, chewy blackcurrant, tar, pontefract cake. Chewy finish. Shame it's flat.
bottle at ashs.... dark black... Light tan lacing... soft brett chocolate roast malts nose... flat... old sherry... aged before its time... Light licorice... just feels dull and flat
