Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep brown to black with a creamy beige head. Nose - lavender, oatmeal and creamy chocolate. Taste - pine, resin and chocolate. Oatmeal again. Palate - medium bodied, creamy in texture. Dry resinous finish. Overall - more of a hopped stout than a black IPA.

Can from Hydrology. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of herbal hops, faint dark malt. Taste is light bitter, liquorice. Burnt orange. Almost menthol. Pine. Slightly thin for a 6%er, but nice enough.
