Kronprinz Ebony Smoke Touch, 440-ml-Dose von der Brauerei. - Schwarzbraun, blickdicht; sahniger dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase elegantes, mild buchenrauchiges dunkles Malz mit leisen zitronigen Anklängen, ein wenig Karamel und blasser herbaler Hopfung. - Antrunk sahnig weich und schlank röstmalzig mit eleganter Rauchigkeit, weder Schinken noch Makrele, etwas Stout-Asche, diskret abgerundet mit zart zitronenschaliger Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang leise nachhallende Rauchigkeit und trockene, dezente herbale Hopfenherbe. - Ungewöhnlich elegantes Rauchbier, das in seiner schlanken, trockenen Röstmalzigkeit an ein Stout erinnert. Prima! On tap at the brewpub. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of moderate sweet dark smoked malt, bacon and caramel. Taste of dark roasted malt, smoked malt, bacon, caramel, moderate bitterness. Good!

Schön angenehme Rauchnoten, eher im Hintergrund. Deutlicher Röstmalz, Kaffee, Karamell. Nach hinten bitterer werden. Süffig.

Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, nutty, husks - chaff (avner), grain, sweet malt, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary coffee, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170525] 6-4-6-3-12

Mahogany with a medium off white head. Aroma had roasted malt and hints of smoke. Flavor had roasted malt, chocolate and hints of smoke. More like a Porter/Stout really.

Sving-topp flaske 750ml. Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune på Nerstranda 22 Jul 16. Ultramørkebrun. Lett farget betongskum. Litt lacing. God baconaroma. Smaken bacon med hint av metall. Ok.

Many thanks to djoeye for sharing a 750ml swing-top bottle at a summer tasting session. A good shot when opened. Pours a dark ruby-brown body under a remaining beige head. Clingy lacing. Dark malty aroma with a rather restrained touch of bacon. Peaty flavours with moments of dark chocolate malts. Prolonged ending. Fine bodied and quite easy to drink. Soft, nice and likable (At Finn’s place in Tromsø, 22.07.2016).
