Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Clear brown with a hint of amber to it, also with a small head. It has a decent brown ale taste though, not too heavy tasting despite a relatively high strength. Certainly rich with plenty of maltiness about it.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber, almost plummy. Beige head. Nose - toffee and bread. Taste - hazelnuts, toffee and praline. Palate - chewy and medium bodied. Overall - good.

Bottle at ash's. Pours deep amber, nose is roasted, bready, caramel, twiggy, taste is chewy, caramel, floral, bready.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours clear brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee and red apple. Taste is sweet and nutty, toffee finish.
