BFG is the result of a competition between our brewers. Jarno wanted to brew a black forest stout while Roddy wanted a big fruity gose. We said "fuse them!". Thus, we have BFG; a Black Forest Gateau Goes big with flavours of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and chocolate with coriander and salt on the finish.

Keg at the Craft Bar, Scarborough. Pours clearish pale red with a pink-tinged head. Aromas of cherry, almond, lactic funk. Taste has the chocolate notes, sharp sour cherry. Nae salt in evidence for the gose element, but was nice.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Nice red. Chocolate, berries, lacto, a bit of spiciness, pickled vegetables, mildly sourish, sweetish, salty. Weird.
