Cask at the North Riding Brew Pub. Pours surprisingly pale brown with a thin crema head. Strong chocolate and vanilla nose. Lightly fruity on the taste, cocoa powder. Nice.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Deep ruby red. Fine beige head. Nose has cocoa powder. Roast malt. Wet sugar. Taste is super sweet, with a light vinous bitterness. Light to medium body drinks easy enough at the ABV. Fine carbonation. Touch of tart bitterness to finish. Ok.
