This is a special brew for us. It’s our first double IPA, but it’s also our first collaboration beer made in-house. For the occasion we teamed up with our pals JT, Joe, and Will from Drop Project to see what our shiny new brewhouse can do. And boy oh boy...
What came out of that day was a smooth, big beer, for a SMOOTH BIG CAT.

440ml can from lowcostbeer.com, cant read BBE date. Hazy orange pour with nice consistent white head. Aromas of citrus, mango, passionfruit, some herb-medicinal. Taste has a lovely soft tropical fruits and citrus notes offset by a pine and medicine bitterness with a tanginess in the finish, some spice. Not sure it should work but it does amazingly well! Smooth moderate body, soft carbonation. Its fruity and punchy, I love it.

Can from Eltham Wines. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Nice aromas of sweet citrus, tropical fruit, peach, pineapple. Taste is tangerine, orange peel, tropical fruit, grapefruit. Pronounced bitterness from the hops, gives it a little edge. Good stuff.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Premier Hop. Pours unclear gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet flavour, nice dank pine and grapefruit, apricot, subtle pale bread. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, some rindy bitterness, pine, papaya, mango, oranges and tangerines, pale bread. Good beefy DIPA.
